Bali provincial government proposed to the central government to develop international fishing ports in Bali. Development of fishing ports with international level to meet the requirements of fish exports to international markets.

Head of Marine and Fisheries Provinnsi Bali I Gusti Putu Nuriartha said international fishing ports in Bali is very necessary, since Bali is one of fishery products exporter areas in Indonesia, especially tuna.

On the other hand international port development is expected to provide social and economic impact for the people of Bali as well as increased revenue.

“Especially for the contribution of agriculture and fisheries in the formation of the regional economy currently Bali amount reached 19.06 percent,” said I Gusti Putu Nuriartha.
