UNWTO Select Bali As Leader

United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO ) chose Bali to become the leader of environmentally sound economic development in the world. UNWTO assess Bali as an island of economic development of environmentally tourism.

Assistant Secretary General of the UNWTO Geoffery Lipman in his description in Renon states that except as a renowned tourist destination in the world, Bali has all the aspects of sustainable tourism development potential. thus Bali has environment saving concept.

According to Geoffry, the concept of traditional values Balinese society in saving the environment is beginning to be adopted by the world.

"Traditional values people of Bali are now used by the world community. In Bali, people also used as the motion of existing tourism, "said Geoffrey Lipman.

UNWTO Assistant Secretary General Geoffery Lipman admitted Bali on the other hand is still experiencing shortages, such as the one of which is compliance with electrical energy needs.
