Association of Travel Agency (ASITA) recommend to the Department of Transportation to open direct flights from Europe to Bali. These recommendations are presented to increase the number of European tourists to visit Bali.

Asita rate for this level of European tourists to visit Bali is still limited because lacks of flights from Europe to Bali. Though interest in European tourists to visit Bali is high.

Bali Asita Chairman Al Purwa on his description in Renon (29/12) revealed that European tourists is basically a very potential tourist to the tourism of Bali.

Because of the terms of the value of European tourists spend per person per day to reach 50-100 dollars. Also in terms of length of stay on average between 2 weeks to 1 month.

Chairman of Bali Asita All Purwa expressed optimism, if direct flights from Europe to Bali to open the number of tourist visit to Bali in a total in the upcoming year reach 2.5 million tourists.

While based on Bali Tourism Office is planning to set a target amount of tourist traffic in 2010 for 2.2 million tourists.
