Bali tourism arrivals to remain alive

Data provided by the Center for Information and Public Relations at the Department of Culture and Tourism shows that average daily arrivals of foreign tourists in Bali in the period from July 1-16, 2009, shortly before the bombing of Jakarta, in 7283 amounted to visitors. In the aftermath of the bombing, 17-27 July 2009, the average number of foreign arrivals in Bali rose to 7.938.

H1N1 in Bali

Given the growing new cases of the H1N1 virus or "swine flu" to be discovered in Bali, Bali Post reported that Dr. Ken Wirasudha has announced that only confirmed cases of H1N1 virus in the life-threatening circumstances are hospitalized in Bali's Sanglah General Hospital. Other patients who are infected with the virus, but as no more serious threat to appropriate medicines and told to return to their homes and limit contact wit other as much as possible.
